Service Description

Learn to create pottery on the wheel in this flexible beginners class. Designed for students with little to no experience, this bootcamp is a great way to build consistency in throwing and trimming. For those looking to join an intermediate class in the future, this can be combined with our Intro to Clay sessions to get to that point. This bootcamp does not include any hand-building portion. Come prepared to throw cups and bowls, learn to master trimming and finishing work in preparation for firing. The final class will be a glazing day. A $45 value bag of clay is included for each participant. WHAT TO BRING An apron or hand towel. You can bring your own throwing tools or tools can be purchased in the studio for $15. *Cancellations & Missed Classes -Missed classes will be automatically compensated by adding 3 hours of Studio Drop In that must be used within 2 weeks of the class finishing. -Full refunds are given for cancellations made 14 days prior to class, and partial refunds with a $45 office fee are given for cancellations 7 days prior to class. Location & Parking We are located at 115 Chapel St, Nanaimo. Limited street parking available - Recommended parking is at the Bastion Parkade which is only a 2 minute walk to and from the studio.
