Service Description

Learn how to throw on the Potter's Wheel. This class is designed for adults with little to no experience with clay and focuses exclusively on the Potter's wheel. Your instructor will guide you through simple forms, how to trim them, fire and glaze them. Each session will include a skills demonstration from the instructor and provide time for hands-on learning. ages 14+ This class will be at our new location 115 Chapel Street. Parking is free on evenings and Sundays. The best daytime parking is the parkade behind the RBC The syllabus includes throwing bowls, mugs and plates. WHAT TO BRING An apron or hand towel. An intro set of throwing tools. You can bring your own, or tools can be purchased in the studio for $15. Clay Glaze and firing are included in all classes. *Cancellations & Missed Classes Missed classes can be made up by booking a complimentary Studio Drop-In. This is automatically compensated to you through your attendance in class and must be used within two weeks of the class finishing. Full refunds are given for cancellations made 14 days before class. After that, the date we will do our best to fill your space. If we do, we will refund you minus a $45 office fee. No refunds once the class has started. We are located at 101- 115 Chapel st, Nanaimo. Parking is available in the parkade behind Royal Bank as well as on Chapel street. parking is free after 5

Cancellation Policy

For cancellation of one-day classes please contact the studio, do not use the online system. Refunds are available if you cancel 14 days before Make-it-nights, and 3 hrs before drop-in starts. Please note late cancellations or no-shows for drop-ins will be charged unless the spot is filled.
