Service Description

Develop your skills by throwing on the potter’s wheel. This class is designed for students with experience with the potter’s wheel. Your instructor will guide you through self-directed projects and include the demonstration of a new skill in each class. You will also explore and develop your skills with surface decoration and glazing techniques. The syllabus includes: throwing larger and adding handles, lids and feet. Decoration techniques with underglazes and carving. This is a class for adults, but teens 14 and up can also join. WHAT TO BRING An apron or hand towel. A $45 value bag of clay is included in all classes. Missed Classes Missed classes can be made up by booking a complimentary Studio Drop-In. This is automatically compensated to you through your attendance in class and must be used within two weeks of the class finishing. *Cancelations Full refunds are given for cancellations made 14 days before class. After that, the date we will do our best to fill your space. If we do, we will refund you minus a $45 office fee. No refunds once the class has started. We are located at 115 Chapel St. Parking in the evenings is free.
