Service Description

Learn how to throw on the Potter's Wheel. This class is designed for adults with little to no experience with clay and focuses exclusively on the Potter's wheel. Your instructor will guide you through simple forms, how to trim them, fire and glaze them. Each session will include a skills demonstration from the instructor and provide time for hands-on learning. ages 14+ This class will be at our new location 115 Chapel Street. Parking is free on evenings and Sundays. The best daytime parking is the parkade behind the RBC The syllabus includes throwing bowls, mugs and plates. WHAT TO BRING An apron. Clay, Glaze and firing are included in all classes. *Cancellations & Missed Classes Missed classes can be made up by booking a complimentary Studio Drop-In. This is automatically compensated to you through your attendance in class and must be used within two weeks of the class finishing. Full refunds are given for cancellations made 14 days before class. After that, the date we will do our best to fill your space. If we do, we will refund you minus a $45 office fee. No refunds once the class has started. We are located at 101- 115 Chapel st, Nanaimo. There is parking on Chapel st. however the parkade on Skinner and Bastion is significantly cheaper and extended times. . parking is free after 5

Cancellation Policy

Refunds are available if you cancel 14 days before classes start. After 14 days we will refund you if we can fill your spot minus a $45 administrative fee. No Refunds after the class has started.
