July 2024 Comic Camp For Kids

Service Description

A comic camp for kids, 7-12 years old July 8 - 12 2024, 9 AM - 12:30 PM Instructor: Lindsay Ford of Bread + Clutter Come create comics with award-winning author + illustrator Lindsay Ford. Using only blank pages, pencils, ink, & four basic “building blocks” of stories, we’ll craft dynamic characters in rich settings, & bring them to life in comic panels, strips, & pages. We’ll also look at how artists use peer feedback to improve their work and how to share our original mini-comics with the world… No experience is needed; EVERYBODY can make comics! Possible dog on premises; let us know of allergies. If your child is staying for the afternoon Art From Sea to Sky session, please bring a packed lunch and 2 snacks. Parents: If you wish to register your child for both July Camps (Comic Camp AM and Art from Sea to Sky PM) there is a discount code that can be applied. Cancellation Policy

No refunds after 20 days before booking start date. We are a working pottery Studio and Art room. Students will be expected to treat their instructors with respect. There may be a dog on the premises so please let us know if your child is nervous of dogs and we can either not bring the dog in or secure him in a location.
