Creative Journaling: An 8-Week Exploration of Story, Image & Self This course is geared towards adults, must be 16+ to attend Course date: Wednesdays, January 14 - March 4, 2026 Course time: 6:30 PM - 9 PM Creative journaling is more than a hobby — it’s a meaningful, personal practice that blends reflection, creativity, and self-discovery. In this 8-week course, you’ll be guided by artist Amélie Blanchard, through an inspiring journey using your journal as both a canvas and a container for your thoughts, stories, and emotions. Each session introduces new techniques and creative exercises, inviting you to explore collage, mixed media art, mark making, and expressive writing — all within the pages of your journal. There’s no right or wrong here; this is a process-focused, playful space where curiosity leads the way. What you can expect: 🎨 Weekly creative prompts and gentle writing reflections 🎨 Hands-on exploration of collage, mixed media, mark making, and visual storytelling 🎨 Guidance on building a personal journaling practice for wellness and creative expression 🎨 A supportive, non-judgmental community space for sharing (if you wish) 🎨 Techniques to release perfectionism, reconnect with intuition, and create for the joy of it This course is perfect for anyone curious about creative journaling, whether you’re a total beginner or looking to deepen an existing practice. If you love mixed media, writing, or visual storytelling — or simply need a restorative, creative outlet — you’re welcome here. Please bring a sketchbook or journal of your choice (new or already used) - all other supplies will be provided.
