Drawing Foundations April 14 - June 2, 2026, 6:30 PM - 9 PM All supplies provided, $330 Return to the foundations of drawing with fresh eyes in this 8-week course designed for both newcomers and those who’ve taken the class before. If you’re revisiting familiar tools, this session offers the chance to refine your skills, deepen your observation, and gently push beyond the basics while staying grounded in core drawing principles. We’ll continue working with classic materials — graphite, charcoal, chalk, and pastels — but with added emphasis on control, intention, and experimentation. Through guided exercises and open-ended prompts, returning students will have space to build on what they already know, while beginners are supported step by step. What you can expect: ✨ Continued practice in shading, line quality, and expressive mark-making ✨ Expanded approaches to still life, landscape, figure, and abstract work ✨ Opportunities to work more independently while receiving focused guidance ✨ Gentle challenges that help returning students advance beyond beginner level ✨ A supportive environment for exploration, reflection, and creative growth No pressure, no perfection — just steady progress. All materials are provided (or feel free to bring your own favorites). Street parking is free after 5 PM, closest parkade is the Bastion Parkade behind the RBC bank and is a 4 minute walk to the studio and is free after 5 PM and on weekends.
