Soft Slab Tea Pots with Sandy Harquail

This is a two day workshop running Saturday July20th and Sunday July 21st from 12-4

In this intensive 9 hour hand building class workshop with Sandy Harquail, we will begin by learning how to prepare, store and handle slabs. Through a balance of demonstration and hands on exploration we will create pooring forms handles and lids that have squared edges and curves. We will develop our own paper templates to our tea pot. This class is designed for students with some clay experience. The price includes clay and bisque fire. Participants are welcome to return during drop in time to glaze or for an additional fee pieces can be glazed and shipped to you. Please bring a towel or apron.
