Clay Houses with Karisa

In this one day workshop we will talk about fairy homes, enchanting & imaginary environments & create our own unique & imaginative inspired clay houses. We will talk about how to roll out slabs, attachments, how to create surface texture & how to add sculptural elements into our work. There will also be a brief demonstration on glazing techniques to emphasize surface treatment.

I encourage you to bring a few small materials from home that have interesting texture or patterns because they can be incorporated into the projects. There will be a half hour lunch break. Pieces will be bisque fired & there is an option to come glaze your work during regular drop in hours at $8/hr. Or you do not have the expereince in galzing to glaze your piece without instruction please let us know. an instructor can be made availble durinng tuesday evenings drop in.
