Artist In Residency showcase: Traces

On a creative journey across countries and cultures, Caroline Moepedi searches for her artistic integrity by exploring her surrounding environment. It is an intuitive soulful process, discovering herself through the clay. The journey is shaped by searching for impressions of the land and leaving behind pieces of herself. Carolin explored Vancouver Island, following traces of nature and wildlife, transferring these traces of lines, shapes, emotions and texture into the body of her work. Join us Wednsday for a presentation of her work from her time as the artist-in-residence.  Her work will be on display at the gallery from Tuesday, Aug 22nd  to Friday, Aug 25th.
