Service Description

Our 7 week hand-building sessions are open to all levels. Our instructor, Bari has 40+ years of clay experience. The beginner will be introduced to hand-building fundamentals through pinch, coil and slab techniques. For the more experienced clay dabblers, our instructors will model an endless continuum of skills to add to your abilities. Depending on the scale of your work, you can expect to end the session with 7-15 finished decorative or functional pieces such as mugs and sculptures and everything. This class will be at our new location 115 Chapel Street. Parking is free on evenings and Sundays. The best daytime parking is the parkade behind the RBC WHAT TO BRING An apron or hand towel. Clay Glaze and firing are included in all classes. *Cancellations & Missed Classes Missed classes can be made up by booking a complimentary Studio Drop-In. This is automatically compensated to you through your attendance in class and must be used within two weeks of the class finishing. Full refunds are given for cancellations made 14 days before class. After that, the date we will do our best to fill your space. We will refund you minus a $45 office fee if we do. No refunds once the class has started. We are located at 101- 115 Chapel St, Nanaimo. Cancellation Policy

For cancellation of one-day classes please contact the studio, do not use the online system. Refunds are available if you cancel 14 days before Make-it-nights, and 3 hrs before drop-in starts. Please note late cancellations or no-shows for drop-ins will be charged unless the spot is filled.
