After School Art For Kids

Service Description

Let your child experience art of all kinds! This weekly after-school art program is designed to inspire young artists aged 8 - 14 years old to try and create with various materials include pencil, paint, mixed media and more. Your child will learn to find their own unique artistic ideas and creativity in a safe and nurturing environment. Fun and mess is encouraged! All supplies included. Parents, meet your child's instructor: Beth is a multidisciplinary artist, who is currently focusing on block printing and collage. She fell hard for the printmaking process while studying Visual Arts at VIU, and now enjoys finding new ways to create art at the kitchen table instead of in the studio. She has spent the last several years exploring and creating with children as a Scout leader, and has loved the challenge of teaching others to notice the world around them and become confident in expressing what they find interesting and beautiful in it.

Cancellation Policy

For cancellation of one-day classes please contact the studio, do not use the online system. Refunds are available if you cancel 14 days before Make-it-nights, and 3 hrs before drop-in starts. Please note late cancellations or no-shows for drop-ins will be charged unless the spot is filled.
